TAK Entrprises has developed a propritary and very cost effective approach to producing tooling for contracted production jobs. Our approach entails standardizing around certain common methods of forming using existing and proven machine designs and then creating "insertable cassette styled" components to perform the final shaping of the part.

This approach allows us to propose production solutions that have a "one time" tooling investment. Our production quotations include an EGI fee that reflects this "one time" cost  

The EGI fee is a one-time charge for the required effort to place a new part into production. In addition to covering the costs for engineering, inspection gages, and ISO procedures the EGI charge also covers 1^st piece submission procedures. Unlike other company’s “tooling” fees", TAK Enterprises never bills for equipment maintenance or replacement hardware after a “set” quantity of parts are produced. No other fees are billed unless the part design or material specifications are changed..
