TAK Enterprises Inc. offers two basic styles of Feed Drive Units. Each is designed to work with fine wire or narrow & thin strip materials and can be operated by a TAK supplied Controls Package or one selected by a systems integrator for more specific or limited functions. Each drive unit has a small “footprint” and is therefore ideal for installation within confined spaces. In addition, standard TAK components like Precision Wire Straighteners, Wire Cleaner / Lubricators, and cutter heads can be easily interfaced for in-line processing.
Lastly, TAK offers three types of material clamping methods. Either a pneumatic, cam lever, or jack screw element can be supplied which can apply from about 10Lbs ( 4.5kg ) or up to 155 lbs ( 70.3 kg ) of roll / tractor clamping force depending upon selection or application needs. |
