HD Roll Drives

The HD Roll Style feed drives are ideally suited for rugged applications on larger size wire . They can be configured with either 2, 4, or 6 drive wheels. The rolls are connected to a single axis single motor drive and can be equipped with manual, pneumatic, or hydraulic clamps. The units are powerful enough to pull the wire off a payoff, through a wire straightener and on into a processing or cutting station as pictured in the upper left hand corner. The drive wheels are interchangeable to accommodate the full range of the wire sizes specified.

TAK offers two control packages ( Basic & Standard ) that can be utilized to exercise the unit to perform controlled wire or strip feeding functions or with the incorporation of a TAK cutter head, wire straightener, and wire / strip payoff can perform as a turnkey cut to length system. The TAK cut to length systems are limited to .250” Ø ( 6.25mm ) wire diameter.
