In-line Spring Coiling Machines & Delivery Systems
Concept:
The concept behind inline spring coiling is to eliminate all the steps between spring design and insertion of the spring into the assembly by coiling the spring directly within the assembly line. Tekno-Detaljer AB of Sweden has done just that with their Colombi line of spring coilers. TAK Enterprises Inc is the exclusive agent for North America for products, spare parts and service.
As illustrated above the spring is made ( coiled ) right on the assembly line saving all the cost associated with purchasing, shipping, storing, inspection, separating, and feeding the spring. This is accomplished by the employment of one of the several coiling systems offered by Colombi which can not only make the spring but inspects it, load tests it, heat treats it, and finally delivers it in an oriented fashion directly to the assembly point.
