Servo Based Wire & Strip Processing / Fabrication Systems
TAK offers a variety of servo based wire and strip processing and fabrication systems. We can offer systems with precise two axis sycronized servo motors and a powerful CNC like software and controls package or just a straight forward single axis two roll linear feeder with simple speed and length control software.
The TAK series SF2 and SF3 are our most precise and flexible servo systems which incorporate the precision and speed of a servo drive along with a very advanced yet flexible software package that can also control the performance of many peripheral forming or processing devices.
The SF2 series servo based system can accommodate very small diameter wire or narrow strip material ( .007" to .070" / 0.25mm to 1.75mm ) and can precisely control any combination of direction, speed, or distance parameters required of the application. The SF3 is rated for larger size wire up to 0.125" or 3.1mm. The SF series systems may employ a tractor or dual roll drive arrangement.
Applications that require accurate positional control and the need to perform an operation or series of operations such as staking, marking, welding, forming, ablating, assembling, measuring, and inspecting of wire or narrow strip material are ideal for our SF Series servo feed systems.
The TAK PFC series based systems typically employ a single motor, single drive two, four, or six roll feed boxes with a limited control and software package. The PFC series systems are idealy suited for feeding and cutting long lengths of wire or narrow strip at fast rates.These systems can accomodate applications where the wire diameter may reach 0.250" / 6.25mm.
